DePaul University Study Abroad Program to China

Itinerary:
Aug. 4, 2016,  (non-stop preferred) flight from ORD to PVG
Aug. 5,  Arrive in Shanghai, a tour guide will pick the group up at the Pudong International Airport. Check into the hotel. Welcome dinner. (D)
Aug. 6,  Visit Shanghai Museum, the Bund, French Concession and Yuyuan Garden as well as the surrounding Chenghuang Temple shopping district. (B, L).
Aug. 7,  Visit the Zhujiajiao Ancient Town and the Pudong Area. Ascend Oriental Pearl Tower to have a wonderful night view of Shanghai. (B, L, D)
Aug. 8,  Business visits in Shanghai. Enjoy the magic Acrobatic Show in the evening. (B, L, D)
Aug. 9,  Business visits in Shanghai. (B, L)
Aug. 10, Take a high-speed train to Beijing and transfer to the hotel (recommend G14 10:00/14:58). Enjoy Beijing famous roast duck dinner in the evening. (B, D)
Aug. 11,  Business visits in Beijing. (B, L, D)
Aug. 12  Business visits in Beijing. (B, L)
Aug.13  Visit the Tiananmen Square & Forbidden City, the Summer Palace and the Donghuamen Night Market. (B, L)
Aug. 14  Visit Great Wall at Badaling section in the morning, Olympic Park and Bird’s Nest in the afternoon. Farewell Dinner in the evening. (B, L, D)
Aug. 15  Transfer to the Beijing International Airport and fly to ORD from Beijing. (B)
 
This study abroad program is led by Prof. Jia.  He is a professor of Software Engineering and Computer Science. This is Prof. Jia’s first time to work with Education Abroad China for arranging his group trip in China.
