Day 1: Entry Beijing
Upon your arrival in Beijing---the capital of China, our professional tour guide will meet you at the Beijing International Airport and escort you to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Day 2: Beijing
Visit the Tiananmen Square, the biggest public city square in the world and the must place to see in Beijing. Cross the gate of Tiananmen into the Forbidden City, the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties, it is the world's largest palace complex and covers 74 hectares. After lunch, visit the Temple of Heaven, the largest complex of ancient sacrificial building extant in China. Enjoy the famous Peking roast duck dinner in the evening.
Day 3: Beijing
Today’s highlight is to visit the Great Wall, the most magnificent defense works and one of the few man-made structures visible from space. The Wall rises and falls with the contours of the mountains westward extending more than 5000 kilometers from its origin at the seaside in Shanhaiguan to Jiayuguan of west part of China. Then, visit the Summer Palace, the best preserved and the second largest royal garden in China, with a history of over 800 years.
Day 4: Beijing/ Xi'an
Explore the Houhai District of Beijing, a region of old courtyard homes and hutongs, alleys that border the tree-lined lakes north of the Forbidden City. Tour the district by pedicab to get a unique perspective on the traditional life that still exists today. Enjoy lunch at a Houhai resident's private home. Then, take high-speed train to the ancient Tang Dynasty capital – Xian and check in a hotel.
Day 5: Xi'an
Visit the Ancient City Wall, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Grand Mosque. The city wall is the best preserved, oldest and largest ancient city defense system in China, also one of the most important landmarks of the Xi'an city. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda was first built in 652 in the Tang Dynasty and one of the city's most distinctive and outstanding landmarks. Grand Mosque is one of the oldest and best preserved Islamic mosques with typical Chinese building. In the evening, enjoy the Dumpling Dinner, featuring more than 20 varieties of traditional Chinese dumplings.
Day 6: Xi'an
Explore the Shannxi History Museum, one of the finest Museums first. Today’s highlight is the Terracotta Warriors and the Bronze Chariots, designed for the tomb of China’s first emperor –Qinshihuang. Thousands of life size warriors and horses still stand on the original site in military formation of the emperor’s burial complex. Watch the wonderful Tang Dynasty style dance show in the evening.
Day 7: Xi’an/Guilin
After breakfast, take a morning flight to Guilin which is known for its craggy peaks and Li River as well as heart of a magnificent landscape. Upon arrival, transfer to a hotel. Visit the Reed Flute Cave - with its spectacular display of stalagmites and stalactites, and Elephant Trunk Hill - the symbol of Guilin and Fubo Hill – with full historical and cultural relics and providing a bird's eye view of the whole city and Li River.
Day 8: Guilin
Today’s excursion is a cruise along the meandering Li River reveals the haunting beauty of Guilin’s mist-wrapped monolithic peaks. Experience the magical beautiful of limestone rock formations and farmland commonly seen in Chinese landscape paintings. Disembark at the charming village of Yangshuo which has one of the best antique and craft markets in China. Then, have a bamboo rafting on the beautiful Yulong River.
Day 9: Guilin/Hangzhou
Visit the Elephant Trunk Hill – the symbol and landmark of Guilin. Then, transfer to the airport and fly to Hangzhou – one of the most beautiful cities in China. The rest day is at your leisure to explore the city’s beauty.
Day 10: Hangzhou
Visit the Lingyin Temple which is one of the ten most famous ancient Buddhist temples in China. It also houses various Buddhist literature and treasures. Then, explore the culture of the tea in Hangzhou in Dragon Well Tea Plantation. You will have chance to enjoy the local green tea. The National Tea Museum will be arranged after the tea plantation visit. Afterwards, visit Qinghefang Ancient Street – the best place to embody the historical and cultural character of Hangzhou.
Day 11: Hangzhou / Shanghai
Have a tour for the West Lake. It is the soul of this unsophisticated city. The entire 5.68 square kilometers water area is surrounded by green hills and divided into many scenic spots by bridges, dykes and ancient buildings. Visit the "Viewing Fish at flower Pond", which is one of the "Top Ten Views of West Lake" . Afterward, Visit the Guo’s Villa garden. In the late after, take a high-speed train to Shanghai and check in a hotel.
Day 12: Shanghai
Visit the Shanghai Museum, with its world-class art collection of Chinese bronzes, jade, pottery, ceramics, paintings, calligraphy, and furniture, Yuyuan Garden, a famous classical garden in the south of China, the Jade Buddha Temple, the most famous Buddhist temple in Shanghai, the waterfront Bund, decorated colonial buildings lining the Huangpu River, financial center to see the modern fa?ade of Shanghai.
Day 13: Departure
After the breakfast, transfer to Pudong International Airport and fly to your next destination.
